Something different…
Having commissioned very many client testimonials over the past years, Fujifilm were looking for something different. An approach that went in a new direction, possibly a bit less corporate maybe? Well, that something different was Dan, in front of the camera instead of in his usual position behind the lens. After a few early misgivings and a couple of practice runs we were ready to pick up on this suggestion from the client, well why not? Everybody likes something different don’t they?
The key to any shoot is preparation, ask the questions, understand the key points and most important of all, listen to the answers. A genuine interaction with the interviewee will help deliver an engaging and interesting film, one that feels like a normal conversation rather than being read from a prepared script. Putting the subject at ease is always crucial in capturing good content, appearing in front of a camera can be a bit daunting for some, so a relaxed atmosphere is always the way to go.
Making it look easy is where the experience comes in. 10 years of working with Fujifilm has given us a thorough knowledge of their products and how they would like them showcased, so asking the right questions is not a problem for Copper Tree Media.
