Planning the marketing video
Marketing video is by far the best way to engage potential clients, giving them a window into your day to day business. Kent School of English, Broadstairs decided they needed a marketing video showcasing their impressive facilities. Hearing from existing clients is always a great way to make a choice. Pictures can replace thousands of words so a marketing video is really useful when you are communicating with people overseas. After an initial chat to understand what KSE has to offer, Copper Tree Media were able prepare a shooting schedule and script in a very short time frame. When creating a marketing video, scripting and shoot planning is one of the most crucial parts of any production. Creating a video is one thing, ensuring your delivering the correct message is another. In the post-production stage close co-operation with the client and careful attention to detail enabled us minimise filming time and hit the right note first time.
Filming the marketing video
We filmed over two days at various locations around the school in Broadstairs. We also obtained footage in nearby Canterbury and Dover to highlight the potentially great time that students can have at the school. Our highly experienced and fully equipped film crew selected venues for interviews. Our auto-cue, high quality lighting and sound recording were all used to maximum effect. Because we have all of this equipment in-house, without the need to hire in any items enables us to work quickly and cost effectively. Our in-house aerial filming really introduced a wow factor to the KSE film. Taking a big decision like selecting a language school far from home needs a lot of thought. Both students and parents are naturally anxious that any school they choose is of a high standard. Conducting interviews with staff, foreign group leaders and a student host, we were able to deliver exactly the type of information that is needed to make such a decision.
The end results of your marketing video
We have been able to create for KSE a two minute video which will engage and inform potential clients of everything the school has to offer, all within a running time of two minutes. It will increase dwell time on their website and boost their Google ratings. In addition to the main marketing video we also created a looping banner video that sits centre stage on their home page. From one shoot we were able to maximise the video content our client could utilise a great way to increase engagement on your website. In addition to accompanying the schools new website we produced short social media clips for use across Twitter and Facebook to aid the school’s social media presence and interaction.
